KC Distribution Return & Shipping Policy

Return Policy

At KC Distribution, we stand behind the products we sell and work to ensure a smooth return process for our dealers and customers.

Return Eligibility

Products may be eligible for return within 30 days of the original purchase date when the following conditions are met:

  • Item is unused and in original packaging
  • All accessories, manuals, and components are included
  • Product is in resellable condition
  • Original invoice or proof of purchase is provided

Returns submitted after 30 days may be denied or subject to manufacturer warranty procedures.


Return Authorization (RMA)

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before being shipped back.

To request an RMA:

  • Email: Conrad@kcdistribution.ca
  • Include:
    • Invoice number
    • Product model
    • Reason for return
    • Photos if product is damaged or defective

Returns sent without an approved RMA may be refused.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable unless defective:

  • Special order items
  • Clearance or final sale products
  • Opened software/media
  • Products with physical damage caused by misuse or improper installation
  • Custom-built or modified products
  • Shipping

Defective or Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Notify KC Distribution within 48 hours of delivery
  • Keep original packaging for carrier inspection
  • Photos of damage may be required

Defective products may be:

  • Replaced
  • Repaired
  • Sent through manufacturer warranty service

depending on manufacturer policies and product availability.


Return Shipping

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The incorrect item was shipped by KC Distribution
  • The product arrived damaged
  • The return was approved due to a fulfillment error

Shipping Requirements

  • Returns must be securely packaged
  • We recommend insured and trackable shipping methods
  • KC Distribution is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments

Restocking Fees

Approved non-defective returns may be subject to:

  • Up to 25% restocking fee

Restocking fees may be waived at management discretion for unopened products returned in new condition.


Refund Processing

Once the return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless caused by shipping error or approved warranty claim

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before shipment. Once shipped, the order falls under the standard return policy.

Special-order items may not be cancellable once processing has begun.


Warranty Information

Many products sold by KC Distribution are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty terms vary by brand and product category.

Customers may be directed to the manufacturer for technical support or warranty replacement services when applicable.
