Sound Dampening

SQL Mat was developed by a chemist in Arizona. The technology was taken to China to have them execute the chemicals required to create this unique blend of rubber butyl, metal and closed cell foam for the automotive industry.
Unlike your typical CLD (Constrained Layer Damping), SQL Mat develops a chemical reaction when 15 pounds of pressure is applied to allow it to adhere to it's new home.
Conventional CLD products use a glue to stick to the panel and the butyl, so if the glue fails, then the sheet falls down.
